avast very lite and good for me, i'm use it :)
Eset, light and effective
ESET nod32 does it all
I use Nod32 for years, never doubt about it!
Eset light and powerful
Well I do not use any anti virus protection. I have 4 computers on 95% of the time and use only malwarebytes and wise care 365. I backup all my computer with acronis true image and in the last five years maybe used it twice (always had recent backups). I find that they cause more problems then they help. Especially with programs that uses key generators and find other so called "bad" infected files.
I also use sparingly wise Care365 for PC scan and that is across windows XP and Windows 7 and no problems.
Malwarebytes is the best!
i do not use an antivirus.
Kaspersky, but if you're looking for some free alternative it's Avira
Go for bitdefender antivirus. it is very good.
And not all Anti-Viruses slow down your computer too much... If they use on access scanning then yes, they are heavy. But there AVs like Comodo or Norton which only scan the files when they change. On access scanning means it scans every time you open the file so of course it slows down your machine...
Not using any antivirus since I'm on a Linux distro.
Kaspersky the best i think
I used to have "ESET Smart Security" but I switched to "Emsisoft Internet Security".
Kaspersky is best
I had used AVG for quite some time, but recently made the switch to Avast. I like it a lot, it doesn't bug me and it doesn't bog down my system.
Its funny, but I was using Windows Defender for a while... but now my favorite is Nod32.
I use Malwarebytes Premium along with Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Premium and my PC runs smoothly, regarding NOD32 I know it's a little better than this one but it dramatically slows your computer down ... regarding anti-virus protection, If someones encrypts his virus with a private and good encryption and the virus is developed well you will certainly get that virus on your computer and even don't have a clue about it :-) maybe it will take months for the forensic malware lab to find it and it's signature so basically what I'm trying to say ... even if you have a great anti-virus on your PC you have a 80-90 percent chance in getting infected ... on the other hand, bad software development allow a lot of bad things to happen ... to have a grasp on all the things that i've said in here take a look at this great article
I don't use an Antivirus, instead I keep all my stuff in the cloud and on NAS drives. If something hits I just reinstall my computer. Antiviruses are always a step behind anyway.
Security Essentials has done a good job over the last few years now, small memory footprint and doesn't interfere with things. Used to use Norton but it started to slow my system down too much. I've had to fix a number of PCs over the years that were running AVG as it had a habit of killing internet connections on a few of it's automatic updates.
from my experience
kaspersky is the best
The best is just using you own judgement. I haven't had any antivirus software since I was 10. I never get Virus's.
Every time I run a scan they find all my crack files and stuff and try to get rid of them.
There is no best antivirus. It depends on what you are looking for.
I use EsetNod
Mac user
I've been using NOD32 since quite sometime and it hasn't disappointed me.
I Always come back to AVG Internet Security, never fails and no problem with keys etc...
I use MSE, but it sure as hell isn't the best. The best way to keep safe is with good browsing habits. ;)
I use Eset Nod32 AV and Comodo Firewall..... best combo IMHO.
Best antivirus in my opinion is no antivirus, because with Linux you don't need one.
I believe this is Kaspersky - although I am using Free AVG Anti-Virus and am not complaining
Kaspersky, I've been using it since 2007
Esed nod32
ESET never failed me. Been using it since the beginning of time :proud:
I think the best Anti Virus is Kaspersky but I am still using Avast because it is easy to use.
Avira if you want a free good version that does its job well.
I used Kasperski for several years with licence...very good but it's a resources-eater. I said then to myself: "Let's give Avast Free a chance" and...I'm more than happy. I have no problems since I use it. Light and free. You didn't even know it's there.
In my opinion AVG is the best.
Nod32 very very good
I have used avast for a very long time, and it has never let me down! :)
I think the best Anti Virus is Kaspersky ;)
