Kaspersky
At this point there's not much difference on the top ones I think
So the only correct answer is "Not Norton"
ESET i guess =)
Kaspersky
Avast is the best for my set up never had a problem:)
I use Kaspersky and it does not use too much CPU. Norton is by far the most useless antivirus, I don't understand why it is so high in rating.
norton 360..using it for past 4 years
I have been using Norton 360 for the last 3 years and has been great, no issues with my pc and not slowed it down etc
Does have a bad rep, maybe it's from the old days I don't know
I don't know how many years with NOD antivirus and yet still do not see any virus, worm, malware... seriously it's a good effective and lightweight resources antivirus and unobtrusive.
McAfee
Eset Nod32 seems to be quite good nowadays, of course NoScript + good browsing habits is more effective than many antivirus suites nowadays imo... ;)
I use BitDefender now, it doesn't slow down the pc, has good detection ratio
Kaspersky
microsfot secyrity essentials
avast is the best
i used bitdefender total security 2014...but now i uninstalled it and using malwarebytes with microsoft security essentials...they both works like a charm...
why i changed from bitdefender to mb and mse
bitdefender ate my memory like a evil..my lap got stuck manytimes and my laptops speed decreased like hell...bt now my laptop works like a charm!!
Avg is the best [my opinion]
I've been using it for years
Avast's internet suite is good, & lightweight. I use it with malwarebytes
My opinion as of the moment Norton 360... System does not exhaust, settings can be customized, catching viruses and a good cleaning pc...
I would recommend to anyone...
for me my #1 is MSE, my #2 is Eset
Kaspersky certanly
Emsisoft Anti-Malware
I think it's Nod. I use to have Kap but mi system was running somewhat slow with it.
Windows Defender
I try to not download anything that could give me a virus, but if I feel like I might have something I jsut run Windows Defender.
using bidefender total security
everyone knows its kaspersky :P
was a poll really necessary? :P
MSE will work fine for most people, also for a lot of people who just have another one installed because they think it's fancy.
In my experience with it, it covers users just fine, only had 1 virus issue within the last 2 years. But she downloaded the exe and installed it by her self, so can't really blaim MSE for that one, besides that i've installed it on every machine that i've fixed for the past 2 years without problems.
Why not AVG in list?
Norton Internet Security.
I vote for "others" because i think that GData is the best out there. It's easy to handle, doesn't need much resources and has a good databank and a good firewall.
Kaspersky thought bitdefender is good too.
Kaspersky is best
well... im currently of belief, it's kaspersky
Microsoft Security Essentials - I use it for almost 3 years and it's very good. It's free also.
Avast is the best for me :D
Kaspersky Internet security 2014 for me
many website said bitdefender have the best virus recognition
but never use it though
ESET Nod32 is great suite!
I use AVG and find this to be the best I have had others but always gone back to AVG
