Best Antivirus

Hey guys wanted to have your opinion on the best Antivirus solution out there. I have used KIS but keys are a headache, so I'm currently using AVG. Let me know what you guys think.

I think the best Anti Virus is ESET Nod32. It detects viruses very fast and doesnt use alot off memory.

Btw, i still got a unused license if you want :)

KIS2010 here. Use a patch and activate a key. After that I never had an expired key with 300+ days.

Yes, NOD32 is lite on startup & monitoring, but NOD32 have less detections when there are viruses or malwares. Then you get infected right away because you were not notified. I'll stick with KIS.

~ Shield Deluxe - detects a lot of well known viruses BUT mostly CAN'T heal! FTW!!! :D
~ Avast - pretty good & lite on resources but key problems.
~ AVG - commercialize
~ Norton - built a lite version but still not good. It's light at the start(fresh install) but after using it a while it will slow down your computer.

*Use Peerguardian/Peerblock. It helps! :D

Thanks for the info booze, I'm giving KIS another try. Also, which patch are you talking about the is it the trial re-setter.

You're welcome. It's called Kaspersky Blacklist

Avira is the best in my opinion

I use Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. Actually using a valid key. Had too much hassle with finding new keys that didn't get blacklisted.

i think AVG

For me the best is Avira,because is free + its doesnt using too much CPU.

I'm using AVG on every computer over here. But my friends recommend Kaspersky and Bitdefender.

NOD32 is the best IMHO. But why pay when you can get Microsoft's Security Essentials for free? I have used MSE for 8 months now and it has worked flawlessly and caught some ugly bugs.

Have used BitDefender, Kaspersky and ESED NOD32!

anyone can say any anti-viruses... that one or that one...
the only option it's that u install one by one used every each of them 3-4 months and then u see ...
my opinion is NOD32... i've been use it for more then 5years... still does hes job very well...
for any consolation try to backup youre sistem after a fresh install... then if u have any problems u do a recovery. Try AcronisTrueImage.

Norton 360 is pretty good! You can download the software + trial re setter on Demonoid. I found it doesn't slow my computer down very much and it catches everything.

i use nod32, kaspersky uses up to much cpu for me
