IPTorrents is THE best General Tracker out there, PERIOD. Whether this is pre-times, content, speed, retention periods or even the community, there is no competition among the other general trackers out there.

The massive userbase along with many seedboxes guarantees very fast speeds. But don't let this scare you. Ratio building is easy, not only because of the big swarm, but also because they have many FreeLeech torrents which along with the Bonus Points can help achieve a decent ratio.
Ratio rules are as follows: Every user has an obligation to keep his ratio any time above .96. Once your ratio is below .96 you will receive a warning from the system. Once your ratio is greater than .95 the warning will be automatically removed by the system. If your ratio falls below 0.2 your account will be frozen from downloading and only seeding or donation will remove this lock.
Invites are handed periodically to Power Users and up. 1-3 invites are given.

Agree IPT covers almost all my media needs

I will agree that they have everything and anything, I'm always amazed that my searches for some pretty odd stuff come up with results. But I don't know who came up with it's easy to keep a ratio there. I have been with them 6 yrs and I fight to keep it above a 5 (at 5.75 now) and that's because I rarely download from them or I'ld be fighting to keep a 1 ratio. I go to my other sites who freeleech at lower GB's and then take it back to IPT and seed to try to get higher ratio, and still get nowhere's. They allow to many torrents per movie and everything gets spread to thin. Not unusual to see 30 or more torrents to movie with 100's/1000's of seeders on the one popular torrent and barely any leechers, so your a needle in the seeding hay stack.
They are very tight when it comes to freeleech, compared to say Fun File, whole month of Jan. full site freeleech for the holidays; or horror charnel where every body kicks in bonus points and about once a month or two they have a 2 week full site freeleech. There are no bonus' like these at IPT. Also there staff is Very uptight, I used the word "poop" in a torrent reply once, and got reprimanded to watch my language and the poop word was blocked out.
Great site, great speeds, great selection; just hard to rack up a really great ratio and Very uptight touchy staff.

I'm curious as to what is the meaning of "good ratio" for you. There are literally ONLY 2 user groups in IPT. User and Power User. To become PU you need ratio of 1.05. Well 1.05 is "good ratio", no need for more now is it?

I have to disagree. IPT is a very popular tracker so I always found building and maintaining a ratio easy. Even easier with a seedbox. As for staff.. do you think 'poop' is really appropriate for a reply? LOL

I'm not knocking the site as I said, "Great site, great speeds, great selection" , I should have also stated Great community; what more can I say than GREAT. I'm sorry, as for the dreaded "P" word, yes, it all depends what the conversation was and the context of usage, there are a number of rather much more Vulgar terms that could have been used, but I kept it at a childs level not to distress anyone (so I thought). I guess as long as it a picture of a pile of (the "P" word) with a smiley face on that really makes a difference; you honestly don't think thats a little uptight? Is this what we have come to our children need to use flash cards to use the bathroom, instead of saying daddy I gotta poop. LOL
As for ratio, I consider a good ratio starting around 3; a ratio of 1.05 is lowest and after you download 1 (let alone multiple) torrents that 1.05 is nothing; I find I rarely can get a full 1:1 ratio on a torrent (at IPT) unless you're lucky enough to be one of the first there when a torrent is uploaded, and even at that 1:1 upload doesn't mean you have regained your 1.05 ratio back. I personally prefer to keep a ratio of 3 and up at my trackers. Heck at THC I have a ratio of 19.69, with know fighting to maintain that kind of double digit ratio. Worst ratio is at CG 2.37, and thats a Very obscure tracker, with very little download (leechers) if any per torrent.
What I'm getting at and I think your comment of having a 1.05 ratio proves is, it is Very difficult to build a substantial ratio. How long have you been with IPT, how long have you been hugging that 1.05, why isn't it a 3 or 7 or 12...etc. because its difficult to build ratio, maybe Easy to maintain, I guess.
I'm not looking to knock IPT or any of its constituents,it is a Great tracker. I'm just stating my experience as when it comes to Ease of ratio as opposed to Ease of Ratio at other trackers, I feel that the numbers don't lie.

For me, ratio is nothing to worry about, it is the amount of Balance Data (Bandwidth) that I have available to download, I could easily have a ratio of 500+ if I have downloaded a 1MB and uploaded 500MB, the problem is then that I can only download 499MB before I on 0 ratio again.. (Just my take of it).

As for IPT, best and easiest tracker I have been working on, I am very active on their IRC channel, there is always a moderator or admin online when a question is posed, and they do reply quickly.

I also do donate time to time not that I have to, but like TI, without people giving back and just taking taking taking, these services will get to an end.

Just my opinion.

  by just snatching newly uploaded freeleech stuffs with seedbox . that's only enough to make your own Paradise at IPT !
