Actually authorities put down too many links from usenet that's why usenet sucks big time.

Hard days for pirates. No doubt. But private trackers are still the king among other downloading methods!

Over rated , it is a top tier tracker but there are a number of trackers that it exceed it in many ways.

I would love to see these reviews to be more objective than the subjective emotional ratings they seem to generate.

Here is a few reasons not to make content a 10. It does not have it's own new blu-ray sources, most of their sources come from other trackers. They are nearly never first with remuxes or encodes.

Have to agree. Speeds on the site are pretty bad as there's a lot of users uploading content from their 5mbit home connection. For the first 72 hours of a torrent you're only allowed to upload x3 the size of the torrent.
I have several other trackers that are far superior in terms of new HD content and speeds. But the standard for content is high, i'll give them that.

Agree that there are several new releases the speed of which is not so fast and most of them are HDB internal encodes. OK, don't run for fast speed because when you download that not-fast-dl-speed release, you've already voted for quality not for speed. You can get other releases from somewhere ealier at super fast speed, like HD-Torrents or other Chinese sites for example (of course, Chinese released encodes are time-clocked for a few hours); agree? However, when there is a snatched on HDB, its speed will increase dramatically.
When there is a bluray release, most HD trackers will have its internal encodes first, HDB's release will come afterwards, maybe days later. HDB internal encode is not your choice if you want to watch an encode as soon as a BD released.

No doubt for some is the best HD tracker of the planet , as for some is not.
Also By saying IPT suck you don't demonstrate nothing man , because IPT is already hated by every tracker out there.

To each his own. Depending on each ones needs, a tracker can be the best or the worst. Since I'm a TV Show junkie, HDBits is of no use to me so I can argue it's nothing special.
This is a never ending discussion but let's not forget that even the mighty fall down. Remember what.cd, SCT, pink, etc. Diversify, cover your bases and let tracker staff to argue between themselves who has it bigger

I don't think is about needs anymore , since a tracker like IPTorrents or Filelist can satisty MOSTLY everything related to TV , movies or music.
Is about to satisfy a goal that you have or not, what can i say is that once you will JOIN, YOU will be very happy but after a while you will get that you didn't miss anything, as in my case , I red an article a day ago (not official ) that HDBits is the most wanted private tracker in the world in 2017 ,
second place BEING PTP , 3) gazellegames and 4) Redacted.

So in the end everything comes to this desire to have the best , as in cars all do the job but the luxury miss on some.
