This site has nothing to do with the original site. Nebulance's owner just had the idea of starting a new site "using" the same name as the original site, although he knows that TehCnnection's staff are about to revive the old site also. For now, to get in, you need to be a member of Nebulance and ask the owner of an invite or get an invite from a friend who's a member of Nebulance and got in the same way.

TehConnection Reborn
I came to the decision to relaunch TehConnection due to the sad fact that the original site disappeared without trace several months ago. I am a firm believer in the here and the now and I don't believe in waiting for something that very well may never happen no matter how good their intentions are.

So with that mindset I set about exploring the idea of relaunching TehConnection myself. As you can see we're not using Gazelle and instead are using UNIT3D a new, fresh and up to date script based off the lovely Laravel Framework. I do realize that some people may prefer the old look and Gazelle.

However, I seriously did consider going with Gazelle but decided against it once I saw how wonderful this codebase is out of the box. It is my belief it will serve us very well, and it is my hope that you will all join me in rebuilding the movies library that the old site once had.

There will be no bot uploads and we will be relying on you the users to upload your libraries..

I might as well open a tracker named SceneTorrents or FeedThe.Net or even BlackCatsGames.

It's making them move even worse the fact that TC staff is already working on a reborn site and even announced that.

Couldn’t agree more. This guy is using the hype of TC being reborn to promote his tracker.
I hope this move doesn’t affect the ex-TC staff of launching their tracker (JTC).

It's a good thing to have multiple alternatives.

Couldn't agree more. But it's a sneaky way to gain popularity. Just name the tracker Starbuck or Adama or whatever, just not TC since you are not affiliated with that

That won't be the case as Alastor isn't after the money.
The background is he got band several years ago from BTN which then resulted in bans from PTP etc. for something minor I am told. To say he was annoyed would be to put it mildly. TehConnection was one of the few good movie trackers he had access to so was upset at it going down. Unlike most people Alastor has the skill set and finances to run his own trackers sites and that's what he does. Nebulance (ex TransmiTheNet) was him giving the finger to BTN and TehConnection Reborn is him bringing back the movie tracker he loved after waiting for the ex-staff to do it.

I got sick of waiting for a go to tracker for movies and decided it was time to just bloody damn well go for it.
People can say what they like about me but NBL is 3 + years and while it doesn't have the amount of content and members it dos not look like a dogs wet fart either. I do what I do for fun that is all and ask nothing in return and in 3 + years haven't asked for a donation once on NBL. I will never ask for it on the new TehC either.

Looks like someone is playing with the FTN domain. If you hit cancel a few times at the login prompt you get to the Register Account page. The old database isn't operational so I don't believe its any ex-staff looking to bring it back.
