Yes I am aware that it is best to not choose winners straight away. There was a misunderstanding I believe due to the original wording in my posts. Never been the best with words

I have changed all my posts to hopefully make more sense. People can be very impatient at times.. I like to make it clear from the get go that being impatient is not going to make me close the thread (announce the winner) any faster, as I am more likely to exclude them in considering winner/winners.

@WayneCorp, my friend, I have proven this theory, if you keep the thread open for more than 1 - 1 1/2 weeks, you could gain up to 500 extra reps
In cases where I got more than one invite and someone is applying that I know is a valued member, I do PM the user and give them the invite, I just don't announce it as yet, I announce all winners on the day I close the thread

If it was not also for people that pointed this out to me, I would also still have weak reps haha
