What's Plex, actually?

It is a system that will turn all the movies/series on a server into a library.
For instance, in my case I will download all my movies and series into a folder that is monitored by my Plex server and I’ll use an app on my smart TV to stream this content. No more necessity of downloading the files into my computer if I don’t want to.
Excellent tool that made my life a lot easier.
