Rap/Hiphop/Underground

Where to begin... I'm a professional musician by training and profession. After being on tour for many years, I have played a lot of music for which I am very grateful. I try to listen to as much music as I can, but I really can't get into modern pop or hip-hop (even though my set has included some pop songs, I get much satisfaction from performing them). Right now, I am enjoying the works of Gustav Mahler (symphony no. 3 especially) and Richard Wagner. These two composers are really different in their own ways (one being a Jew (Mahler), the other being praised by Hitler for denouncing Jews who perform/compose music (Wagner).
This could change tomorrow, but right now this is what I am enjoying.
Love house, electronic and hip-hop
Oh lord this question always baffles me.
I love ALL genres or at least I listen to songs daily from all types of genre.
I'm open to all sorts of genres so I can't say I have a favorite one, haha
"I don’t have guilty pleasures and I don’t like the concept at all because it’s kind of a smug thing to say.
For example, 'Yeah, I know I shouldn’t like that but I do!’ there’s no such thing as ‘shouldn’t like it’!
I don’t expect anyone to like anything I like because that doesn’t matter. It's an ugly concept [guilty pleasures].
There’s too much irony in the world these days; everything’s irony, just fucking like what you like!” - Mark Lamarr.
