Hello everyone, As you can see I received a takedown notice from HBO to delete a torrent that I downloaded on a public tracker.
Could anyone help me to to setup a VPN on mi VPS please? so I can route the bittorrent traffic thought it
I'm currently using a Quickbox installation (rotrrent+deluge+transmission)
Regards

I would suggest stop using public trackers altogether and only get your torrents from private trackers.
You can look into OpenVPN in case you still want to go on with this

I would agree 100% do not use public trackers. Too risky, as you just saw. However, your VSP should be encrypted anyway. But none the less. I use NordVPN and openVPN for everything.
To configure your VPN with your VSP, you should check with your support for that VSP. Sorry to say it, but each VSP is different and they typically have a lot of documentation for those things. If worse comes to worse, depending on your VSP provider, a good duck duck go/google search might have what you need.
Best of luck, I apologize if this wasn't much help.

I agree, don't use public trackers if you are not passing the traffic through a VPN. While I am not familiar with quickbox, I do have deluge and openvpn running in docker containers on my Kimsufi box.

@SBI-boy This sounds like a slap on the wrist from your host or ISP. You can try a VPS, but you'll run into the same situation. They will contact your VPS, who will then contact you in return. You could try a proxy service and cycle through IPs.
