What player do you use to watch movies through?

Windows - VLC with RarFileSource

Android - MX Player Pro

I use VLC Player here and there, but I mostly use XBMC. I've been using that program for nearly 9 months now, and I just love the fact that I can make my content look like Netflix and the like.

I use VLC for network streams (due to it having alot more features such as http referer, cache, etc...) and if I want to watch a video with 1.5x+ speed.

I use MPC-HC with CCCP codec for watching high quality movies because of the quality and is less of a memory hog. (Movies, Bluray, Cartoons, Etc..)

Since couple of months, I'm a proud owner of the HTPC based on Raspberry PI, and powered by raspbmc (debian based OS tailored for PI + XBMC/Kodi) , flexget (rss downloader) and transmission (torrent client).

I use VLC for my PC and WD Live Media Player for my LED TV to watch movies

MPC-BE for Windows is by far the best I've used.

If I recall, MPC-HC doesn't have thumbnail seeking, which is why I choose BE over HC. Other than that they're both pretty similar.
I used to use VLC, but it had too many issues in the past, so I've long ditched it.

Personnaly, I use JRiver for all my media needs...Very well designed player with tons of features. I really like music and good sound and I think for sound quality it's also one the best if not the best.

To be honest I think it's one of the few sofwares that worth paying for it.

I'm on OS X, I use mpv for everything. Good on resources, excellent image quality, plays everything, highly customizable, very minimal user interface (which I prefer). mpv is also available on Linux of course and Windows for the curious.
