How do you play HD-movies?

potplayer. almost flawless

I use MPC-HC with K-Lite.. VLC is ok but I noticed it seems to have slight trails on movements, it does have a good de-noise option, i cant get that with K-Lite as there is no option on LAV Splitter options

I mainly use vlc but give others a chance as well

I have K-Lite codecs, But use Kodi as my streamer/ player (All codecs built in).

I started with mpc-ch with madvr too many digital sparkles , then moved to kodi that was far to buggy kept crashing , then to jriver with redoctober , settled with that for now , for movie night on the pj , its the sony s7200 all the way :)

I only use VLC. I can't stand any other video player.

I always play my HD movies from the Popcorn A400 connected to my TV

If playing from computer I use VLC, streaming from A400, but I increased the buffer

I use MPC-BE with MadVR as renderer.
ffdshow, Reclock, LAVaudio as decoders, filtering,...

I converted my blu-ray, ISO format. I mounted in Daemon tools lite. For 3D movies, I use Powerd DVD 15. For movies in 2D, I use PowerDVD 15 or Ideer Blu-ray player. My PC is connected to two displays. A 32-inch LCD that I use PC screen, via DisplayPort. And a Samsung 48-inch 3D ( UE48H6200) in the living room via HDMI. All this from my graphics card, Sapphire HD7970 GHz Edition VaporX 6GB.

I am playing all my stuff through my fantastic mede8er 600x3d which is awesome and read every single format

i will soon buy a new one to enable h265

I'm using Media Player Classic with SVP Manager. SVP make your movies play at 60FPS (soap opera effect) which is great! It's a third party software and works even with other players like The Kmplayer or even Windows Media Player.

I just load up Plex on my media server connected directly to the 70". I like to keep things simple.
