How do you play HD-movies?

I bought a WD Live HD media player a few years back. Hooked it with my TV and have never used anything else since then.
I fear the arrival of 4k content as the player is not capable of displaying it :)

I use Windows Media Center for all my tv shows and movies. The remote control work like a charm. I have added codecs for mkv which is I believe k-lite some other dll's?and i used ffdraw also in the past on this windows 7 computer and everythinh works perfect. :=)

I normally watch movies on my laptop and for that purpose I use PotPlayer. It's developed by the same guy that developed the KMPlayer. So, if you're tired of the KMPlayer's adware and all the other stuff that the company that bought it bundled with it, just switch to PotPlayer. Like me. :D

I have all my Series/Movies on my Synology DS412+ and i'm using plex media server to organize them. I mostly watch them on a samsung smart tv or my Macbook :)

I use popplayer, it is very good media player.

MPC-HC with KLite-Mega.
Clean minimalist interface. I felt other players were total crap.

I think codec-packs do more harm than good any you really don't need them.
MPC-HC is all i use!
