Following the first official trailer on February 5, 2025, the makers of Jurassic World: Rebirth unveiled the new trailer. Scarlett Johansson stars as the competent covert operations expert Zora Bennett, who is tasked with leading a team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material.

The film takes spectators to a new island, with new dinosaurs to face, and the brand-new trailer gives a better look at the new locales and threats. The primary antagonist is said to be a mutant T-Rex named Distortus rex, featured in the trailer.

The film is set five years after Jurassic World: Dominion, and the planet's ecosystem has proven to be primarily unfriendly to dinosaurs. Those that survive live in isolated equatorial habitats with climates similar to the ones in which they once thrived. The three most enormous creatures in that tropical habitat are believed to be the key to a medication that will provide remarkable life-saving benefits to humans.

Jurassic World: Rebirth is a standalone sequel to Jurassic World: Dominion (2022), the fourth Jurassic World film and seventh movie in the Jurassic Park franchise. It is written by David Koepp, who co-wrote the original Jurassic Park (1993) and wrote its sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Steven Spielberg, Denis L. Stewart, and Jim Spencer serve as executive producers for the picture.

The cast includes Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey play the lead roles, while Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein in supporting roles. The long-awaited Jurassic World: Rebirth is set to be released on July 2, 2025.
