Re-watched The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel with my girlfriend, who'd had a rotten day and needed a pick-me-up. British master actors doing variations of the Muttering Brit Abroad were just the thing. I'm not usually one for movies like this, but TBEMH just fits so perfectly together, like a happy little jigsaw puzzle. Everything is dealt with, somehow, and everyone gets at least one line that gives them an added dimension (even the snobby, shrill, toxic wife of Bill Nighy).
