The upcoming horror sequel, Terrifier 2, has officially found its exclusive streaming home and will be hitting theaters this fall. Written and directed by Damien Leone, Terrifier was released in 2016 and saw the face of the franchise, Art the Clown, stalk three young women one frightful Halloween, with only one victim able to escape his murderous wrath. The upcoming slasher sequel will see Leone back in the writer/director seat and will focus on the return of Art and final girl, Victoria Heyes as the killer clown returns to Miles County one Halloween night in order to set his sights on some new prey.

Now, it has been announced that the horror streaming service Screambox and the genre media brand Bloody Disgusting have teamed up to acquire all North American rights to the upcoming slasher film Terrifier 2, via Deadline. The gory slasher sequel will hit theaters this Halloween season before it will be available for streaming exclusively on Screambox. Bloody Disgusting and Screambox Managing Director Brad Miska commented on this exciting news. Read his full comment below:

The Terrifier franchise embodies everything that’s great about the iconic slasher flicks of the 80s and 90s. It’s nostalgic, it’s dark, it’s bloody, so it’s no wonder the movie—and especially Art the Clown—have become a staple for horror and Halloween fans alike. Fans are not prepared for what they’re about to experience.
