'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' star grabs the lead in a movie co-written by director Julia Hart and her producer husband, Jordan Horowitz.


Rachel Brosnahan, the star of Amy Sherman-Palladino's Amazon series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, is set to star in and produce I'm Your Woman for director Julia Hart, co-producer Jordan Horowitz and Amazon Studios.


Brosnahan has been tapped to play the role of Jean in the feature by Hart, who co-wrote the script with La La Land producer and husband Horowitz. I'm Your Woman sees Jean forced by her husband's crimes to go on the run with her child, only to see their lives get caught up with another couple in an unlikely partnership.


I’m Your Woman will be Hart's fourth feature, after she most recently wrapped production on Stargirl for Disney. Hart and Horowitz also co-wrote Fast Color, which Hart directed and Lionsgate/Codeblack Films released.


I'm Your Woman starts production in the fall, with Amazon Studios to distribute the movie.
