Desi.cd serves the best Indian subcontinent music other then any private tracker. With a user base of +230 users uploading music from all around the country of different languages from Hindi to Tamil and Marathi to Telugu makes it the best Desi private music tracker.

Site is currently serving +11K torrents out of which +8k are perfect FLACs.

In beginning site had Ratio System but due to excessive ratio spoofing site staffs removed it and in its place they implemented Points System, it assesses the overall contribution of a user in the community and awards 'Points' on the basis of several activities and factors viz. uploading, seeding, filling requests, creating wiki, posting on forums, idling in IRC etc.

New Users do not receive Points and without points a user cannot download, (1 Point is deducted upon downloading 10 MB data)so it is preferred to download Freeleech and seed them long enough or upload new torrents to make some points. Site offers 6 Freeleech album per two weeks and there is a collage of freeleech albums that can be downloaded without points and after seeding them points can be earned to download in future.
