Dear users,

We've just introduced a new user class: Prospective Uploader. It is a limited and temporary class awarded to wannabe uploaders we recruit from outside the Site. A Prospective Uploader has a limited time frame to learn to rip and get promoted to another class or else the system erases them. Details and discussion here.

If you know somebody who would want to join to upload here, this may be an option for that person.

XBTMUSIC (PEDRO'S) IS SEEKING QUALITY UPLOADERS
(Note: not merely new members.)


We are a private music tracker specializing in perfect lossless (FLAC) rips of actual CDs and vinyl
(and qualified digital downloads), hitting our 11th bday this May. We are serious, secure, always
online and in the first place overzealous about quality. The community also enjoys sporadic
special site projects taking the whole thing always a step further, e.g. Community Specials
collective purchases of most expensive HDTracks sets,among others.

We are considered to be persnickety in the extreme. Some will say maximally anal retentive.
It's true! We allow only personal rips done from original retail media. We do not share stuff found
online. We are also the most secure. We are also actually about to switch to a brand new site
written from scratch and run on brand new top quality hardware we actually own.

To the point: For years people asked us for invitations and access, yet our invites are scarce, and
we like it so. Yet to meet the popular interest and also perhaps to gain quality users we would like
to find a sound way to recruit serious music sharers, with interesting personal collections, who are
like minded, that is, in the same way interested in top quality and care about music.

We are hence establishing a new user class "Prospective Uploader" with certain initial limitations.
Our intent is to have new users that want to and will upload. Once proven you will automatically
become an uploader in good standing. Please read the requirements and expectations. If you are
interested send an email to the address at the bottom. We are not looking for regular users.

A Prospective Uploader account:
- Expires after 2 weeks if not promoted to another class. Then the system will simply erase the account.
- Cannot download torrents larger than 1GB.
- Cannot download more than 5GB.
- Cannot dip below ratio of 0.5. The moment this happens the account is automatically erased from the system.
- To prevent awkward abuse and shenanigans, cannot donate to the Site.

This means a new user has 2 weeks to learn to rip and get promoted, or alternately convince us
in an exceptional way to promote him/her to another user class so they will be able to stay, or
will be gone.

To qualify you must:
- Prove access to a decent CD/vinyl collection by sending a photo (specifics will be given in subsequent messaging).
- Provide a listing of your intended first 25 uploads. You do not have to upload that much in the two weeks, but you
have to show that you know how to rip and upload, and what you will want to upload later on.
- Provide a photo of your vinyl setup (if applicable), plus a detailed description of your process.
- Not be from a Site blacklisted country
(currently: DZ, BR, EG, IR, IQ, IL, JO, KW, OM, PK, QA, SA, SY, TN, TR, AE and RU)

We do not care about your accounts and status on other sites, seedboxes, and other nonsense.
It does not matter how fast your connection is. What counts is actual honest interest in top quality
audio sharing.
