But it is not advised to choose 4 winners only ....4 hours after you start your giveaway!
In such an ultra-short period of time many other users will not have the opportunity to apply.
A couple of weeks, or at least a week in minimum, is the recommended duration for any common giveaway.

thanks for the advice
i just thought ipt & td are not a big deal to keep the thread open for a week
in fact after a week most of the applicants if not all of them would have already got the invite
but i will consider this in the future

Each tracker is important to the people who enjoy it. One user's trash is another user's treasure
Even if those offered here are not such a big deal indeed, a few hours is is a definite no-no.
A week is fine in those cases.
