As for me there were 2 first trackers: rutracker and Oday

Never knew what a private tracker was until years after I was using mixed private and public ones xD... after I moved and realized why private trackers are important lol. My first was torrentday though, and it was awesome while I had it xD... unfortunately I lost a bunch of data on that moving out of the country move... I didn't care at the time cause I was still using a bunch of public ones and then in the states I got corrected in to shape HAHAHA

I thought it was torrentday back in the days when I didn't care if it was a private or public tracker... but seeing an answer above, I guess I realized demonoid was private? if so.... that was my first xD

TorrentDay and very sadly PublicHD before I really knew much about private trackers..... Both accounts got disabled due to inactivity. I was able to get another TD but no luck with PHD

torrentleech and damm it is harsh for newcomers. if you can survive TI as a newbie then you can survive on any tracker lol

It gets a lot of flak but my first tracker was IPT.

Demonoid, if you can call that private. It was before it was taken down and rebooted as a rebranding of all the big public trackers. Before, when it was private, it had all sorts of rare general stuff.
