If someone's is looking of the 'best of the best' on the market now, they would be the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and their contenders iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

I think 'best phone' is subjective. The iPhone 6s Plus or Galaxy S7 Edge would be overkill for my needs - the screen is too big, I don't play games on my phone, and I use my dSLR for taking photos.

IMO, the best phone is the best one for your needs.

Phones that have iOS are the best for me.

I had a One Plus One before ... was really good! But I switchted to Lenovo Zuk Z1 with Dual SIM and fully LTE Support. Good and cheap Android Phone.

- Caterpillar S60 with FLIR thermal camera running on Android v6.
&
- BlackPhone2 with SilentOS.

IMO both are the best mobile devices available on market today..

according to me Nexus is GOD
