Not long ago, my account on SCC was disabled. I can't ask the staff what happened because the IRC says that my account has been permanently banned.

When I say "no reason", I really mean there is absolutely no reason that I can think of for them to ban me. I uploaded around 2 TB and downloaded somewhere around 1TB. This is the first time ever posting anything about torrents in my lifetime. I don't hit and run and utorrent was open for at least a week straight seeding (no downloading) prior to this incident. I never invited anyone, so it can't be due to someone who I have invited getting banned.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way that I can get in contact with them, considering that I cant get onto the IRC?

I don't see why they couldn't at least tell me why they banned me. Ive been nothing but a good user. 2 TB upload might not seem like that much, but I put a lot of time into seeding that much. I seeded as much as I did to contribute to SCC -- I knew that I would never download anywhere near 2 TB, I just wanted to be helpful to the community.

Now, after countless days of making sure my computer was on and utorrent open for seeding so that I may add worth SCC, I'm getting letters from my ISP about copyright because I have no other option but to use public tracker sites. I just don't think its fair that I just got banned and was given no reason; I would have never seeded as much as I did.

@no you sad to know that but only option is to get in touch with staff via IRC. SCC is popular to ban members without telling reason but I believe that no tracker ban without one.

but now i have second thoughts about it i hope you regain your account

@no you their admin is a class act. You might have not done anything wrong but you could have fallen a victim of an invite tree ban. If they caught your inviter doing something wrong they disable the whole invite tree with no excuse.
Anyway don't even bother with IRC, you will never get your account back

@no you why do you say you have no option now than to use public trackers when there are so so many better private trackers than scc. with better content/ better staff, better anything...

Check the trackerlist and reviews to make an idea on what you are missing

I have SCC account and I have only one reason to keep that crap on is that to keep my invite tree safe otherwise I prefer to get rid of this account ASAP.
The only good thing in SCC was their free to leech archive which is now only for donors and you can find better alternatives

I guess, if not for no reason, I must have been banned due to my inviter. I did e-mail him to see if he got banned but he did not answer me. I highly doubt he would do anything to get banned though, he had a real good ratio and always played by the rules when it came to his trackers.

@Blitz Yea that wasn't cool when they made the freeleech only available to donors.

@Redstar I admittedly don't know a whole lot about private trackers. I say I have no other option because I am under the impression that its difficult to get an invite to one. I wasn't that happy with SCC after they took away freeleach and I would rather be a part of another instead, but I don't really have anything to offer someone for an invite, I don't have any friends that are part of a private tracker and I don't know how I could get invited otherwise. Maybe I could find someone that would take a steam game for an invite, idk.

@masonos They ban the whole tree? Like if, for example, w invites x who invites y who invites z and w gets banned, then even z would get banned? Thats crazy. In my opinion, once someone is invited and proves to be a good member, it shouldn't matter who invited them. If I had an account with another tracker, I would be happy that I was no longer with SCC, the responses here have lead me to believe that the staff don't care much for their members.

@thor1988 I don't know too much about other trackers but I would aim for a different one.

So, it looks like I'm beat. Thanks for all the responses, at least I have some clarification to what may have happened.

If someone has an account there, would he/she be able to see if another user is banned? If someone feels like checking the person who invited me so I can see if they got banned, if its not too much to ask. I just want to know for sure if I was banned from my invite tree. My inviter won't respond to my e-mails. If this could jeopardize account security, then forget it, it's not crazy important. If someone wants to do this then please pm me and I will give you the name to check. Thanks.

@sp101 what.cd & SCC usually ban whole invite tree for the mistake of one.

You can try tracker suggested by @Redstar as all content of SCC on other trackers, just pretime will be higher.

@sp101 I didnt know much about private trackers, i didnt know how to get invites, but then i found this forum and slowly i got into most of the biggest/better private trackers. all it takes is to be active here(active on chat,post news,help users in diferent problems,...be active) and soon you will be noticed and you will have big chances in winning a giveaway or request filled.
