I tried out whatbox for a month on their Quark server (Located in the netherlands with 140gb of storage, unmetered monthly traffic, and 100 Mbps speed). Overall I give a 7/10 due to the fact that I had to reboot rutorrent twice due to javascript errors, and it seems I always have to reset my password to manage the box. The highest download I got was 40mbps. The unlimited traffic was nice, but I got a box over at feral and plan to use feral from now on.

Was with them for years, a paypal bug they had going on for almost as much time I did business with them makes it so I can't use them unless I pay 7 months back, I'm trying to do something about it with paypal.

They're still great, but I suggest paying with a good old old school credit card, prepaid even better, every month I did that, paypal didn't do many strange things. It is from their own admittance that I am saying that (the paypal vs them bug), I believe it's true since so much banking just went missing on my side (my bank) etc.

They had me change banks at least, made me realize how crappy they were which is what everybody says.

I have use Whatbox.ca seedbox few times in the past and it was good, overall 8/10

I have been using WB for some time now and can say that they are great and their customer service is awesome. They are quick to reply with any questions you might have.

I am new to using seedboxes so I will state my observations and facts opposed to opinions since I don't have a lot to compare with besides my personal Plex server. My focus is on the primary torrent client, Plex, the general performance of the server and Internet speed/quality.

Package tested: North America SSD $28
Signup and first login: breezed right through and was in the account in minutes.
Setup: the torrent software was ready to go and only had a short instruction to install Plex. Note-The current method of proxy allocation to the Plex instance requires jumping from an SSH session to the web setup of Plex. Be sure to use the port number you get from the SSH session as your incoming port in Plex and don't change it unless the installer is reinvoked. I had to start over to get this right.
Navigation: everything I needed was close by including documentation. I experienced 0 errors and bugs in using rutorrent and Plex for many hours across several trackers.
Plex playback: the Canadian location was my primary reason for selecting Whatbox. With that said, my playback in Plex has Netflix/Amazon quality and loading speed. Very fast timeline tracking. This was using server transcoding and tested on a Pi/Kodi/Plex, a PC browser and the iOS Plex app.

Overall, I am inclined to stay with WhatBox until circumstances change. They have exceeded my expectations and give me no reason to go elsewhere. I would recommend them to anyone in North America.

I used Feral for 2 months and my box went down for 2 weeks, just received a notice and that's was all, even with many requests, they didnt replied and when the service was back again, no offer to refund for those 2 lost weeks of service, I dont recommend Feral Hosting at all, right now using seedboxes.cc and seedhost.eu and they are great..
