    FeralHosting issue

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but basically, I have a seedbox over at FeralHosting.

I'm very pleased with it, I get great speeds, up and down.

However, when I want to transfer files to my PC off of the seedbox, the max speeds I get are around 250kb/s, which is very slow. I've tried from both FTP clients, and SSH programs.

My question is, is there any way I can improve the speed of downloading files off my FeralHosting seedbox onto my PC?

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Advertised speed is 20megabits/second. Which is roughly 2.5mb/s, and when downloading via usenet/newsbins I reach speeds of 2mb/s easily, hence why I see this as a dramatic decrease.

Have you tried setting up a file transfer connection via HTTP?
They are comparatively much faster, Feral offers a guide for it, check there FAQ database.

    Taz.
Just tried that, the result was even slower, hitting a maximum of 52 kb/s.

Yes, Filezilla was resulting in speeds between 240 and 250 kb/s.

    Take a look here:

You appear not to be the only one with this problem. Maybe you can get a solution here.
