    Single file or multiple .rars (assuming its a movie for example) ?

    If its a single file try using multi thread FTP programs instead of conventional ones

    Technically though as mentioned HTTP download speeds are your best indicator as to the max achievable speed

    I had the same problem with Feral.

    There servers are from leaseweb based in America.

    So if your from Europe your more than likely gona get shit speeds.

    I found a solution to the issue, if I download via HTTP using JDownloader I can get decent speeds, almost maxed out on my home connection (I can hit around 2.2 mb/s), only for multiple RAR files though. On a single file It can reach about 600-700 kb/s, most of my downloads are split RAR's though so it looks like this solution will do for now.

    When I had the problem there staff told me that because I was from Europe and there servers are leaseweb american servers that could be the problem.

    Maybe they changed but on there slots page it says leaseweb network.

    Have spoken to the owner of feral hosting many times, his name is Josuha.

    I think it says on there website that they rent the lines from OVH, but they could have been different in the past.
