I've been on a huge Kurasawa kick recently. High and Low has been my favorite of his so far but I've enjoyed his samurai flicks as well. Seven Samurai was amazing though a little long for an average viewer.

If "slow" movies are not a problem for you: The Turin Horse by Béla Tarr.

I'm watching a lot of Scandinavian movies right now, and I have to say, it might take a bit to get used to the style, but once you do, they're great.
There's been a few american remakes as well ('Girl with the dragon tattoo', 'Let The Right One In' and I think the newest one is 'The Guilty' with the orignial being from 2018 and the remake with Jake Gyllenhall from 2021).

If you're into "dramedys" I can recommend 'A man called Ove'.
If you want to see if scandinavian humor is for you you can try 'Adams Apples' (2008), 'The Green Butchers' (2002) or 'Another Round' (2020, I think?). All of them with the amazing Mads Mikkelsen. He might be the most well-known actor from the scandinavian countries, I think?

I'd recommend three movies that'll make your week. They're proper classics which leave you feeling real warm and wanting to revisit them sooner.
    1. The Searchers
    2. The Quiet Man
    3. Rio Bravo

PS: I'm no fan of John Wayne's acting but the Duke has an amazing body of work

    The Flash 2023

I highly recommend "The Flash" coming out next week. I saw it as a screening last night, and it was so good with a lot of fun cameos. A lot of clapping and laughs from the audience. James Gunn is joining DC and you can see his influence of comedy like you did in Guardians. I came across an article that's helpful if you plan on seeing it.
10 Plot Points To Remember Before Watching The Flash Movie
