yeah give it admin rights. And after saving the hosts file do
ipconfig /flushdns so it doesn't check the cache for the ip rather checks the hosts file for the ip.
Order of finding the ip: Cache -> hosts file -> Your dns server like open dns, google dns, isp's dns server, etc.
If you're not sure just restart your computer dns cache will clearup.

Try the run as administrator if you're using Win7. It's the same as using sudo in linux. For you linux guys open up your terminal and use

Yeah, I had troubles too. Your login and pass are case sensitive. So double check
