what are the rules concerning inactivity on HD-Torrents?

I consider buying an account, however I'll spend some months this year far away from a fast Internet access in India and Ethiopia. Therefor I'd need to know if they require you to actively seed and leech torrents in order to avoid being disabled for inactivity or if it is sufficient to just log into the page from time to time?
