Hey, I was curious if you needed to have private enabled and set to yes when downloading from a private tracker? It doesn't do it automatically so I was curious if you needed to do it manually when downloading from a private tracker. If you do need it ticked and it's not ticked what can happen? Sorry if it's a dumb question.

It is necessary while making a new torrent. Setting it to private and putting announce url into tracker box.

But while downloading. It is not necessary because that was already done by uploader while making a new torrent and uploading.

Those are some necessary things to do while uploading a torrent. So when you download it it already have thta set up. On a private tracker.

Additionally, always follow the specific rules of each private tracker when uploading.

process you need to follow to properly upload a torrent and share it with the community.
