Today I was trying to change the password for my torrent accounts on IPT and TD.

When I'm trying to change, I'm typing my old password correctly; But it says the old password didn't match. But, when I'm trying to log in with the same old password, I can log in to my account perfectly. But with the same password, it says didn't match. What's the issue? How do I solve the issue?

This might be a problem from their system. Try recovery then change the password.

Now I'm feeling afraid, ff this trick doesn't work; Even I can't change from the settings. Should I really do that way?

I had a similar problem , i have change the password successfully and then the new password stop working..Then with recovery it worked.
Anyway, depends on why you want to change the password , if is urgent or not.

Not urgent, But for security I wanna change it. Someone of my friend might have it, Though I trust him, but still for security purposes. Not an emergency.
