Like mentioned above freeleach is key. Look for those freeleach that are new especially those with a high number of leechers compared to seeders, you are bound to get something from these even with just a good home connection.

Also keep seeding what you have for as long as possible (minimum 336 hours/2 weeks). Recommend having a large drive to store your seeding torrents on and seperate drives for your storage of what you want to keep. The bonus system is really good and helps a lot especially when starting out, the more torrents you have seeding at 100% the better up to a max of 15 before this stops being beneficial.

Upload if you have anything that isnt on IPT.

Even a seedbox for just a month will help you create a good buffer.
Donation is also an option if you have the money.
