Yes, but it's pretty hard to reach so many points. The other way to get invites on SCC is by donation.

of course but its always an option there if some one is looking for a free way
if you seed 500 torrents (theoretical) you can get it in five days
bonus points is a nice addition to the site we need to mention it here and the tracker review
