These boxes are slow.

Peak upload speed is cca 55MB/s, but when you are uploading a torrent yourself and youre the only seed it drops to cca 12MB/s. (On this box I've created and uploaded at least 10 200GB+ torrents and this has been the case with all of them.) An even bigger problem is when you are uploading a torrent and then add another to download. Both upload and download drops below 10MB/s. And as said by others FTP is quite slow aswell, I have 100Mbit/s at home and I never quite maxed it out.


The big plus are all the addons you get, you can connect to it by VNC, you can install VPN server, you can host websites etc...

With my seedbox, the highest i've seen was 110 mb/s download and 140 mb/s upload.. which wasnt bad st all. And it's cheaper.

I had a seedbox with Seedbox Company for one month and I did not renew. Their customer support was quick to respond, but the servers might have been overloaded because I never got the FTP speeds that other providers have given me. Decent value compared to the bigger name providers.

I'm currently using The Seedbox Company on their SB-50 plan with great success. The fastest download speeds I have ever seen on a seedbox (even faster than seedboxes.cc) and their vpn while using ftp from the box I get 45 Mbps. Love that they have unlimited bandwidth, and a good hard drive size, just wish that the space left on the box was on ruTorrent (you can switch between ruTorrent, Deluge and Transmission and keep the data).

I would recommend this box to anyone who is looking to get a seedbox. I will be renewing.

i, like somad am enjoying this seedbox. its my first, but its dling and uling as fast as promised. easy switching between clients and the service is great and fast.
