I have been a customer with Rapidseedbox.com for four years now.

I know for many seedbox users they don't want the hassle of having to maintain the operating system and applications, for me this is a pro not a con.

I started with their "Fast" level seedbox for €15 and quickly realized the service was great but I needed more. I upgraded to the highest tier seedbox they offered at the time which was "Rapid" and it was really good for 5-6 months. I have been on the highest level tier "Furious" for 2years now and I am generally satisfied.

My issues are these. While the customer service is great, my seedbox is randomly migrated to another host throughout the year, without warning. While this seems like a good thing (New IP), I find it randomly powered off and unaccessible, and a migration notice in my email. It could take anywhere from a day to a week to get access back, due to transferring the seedbox + all the current data. If Rapidseedbox.com would give me notice I could have removed or reduced the data to speed up the migration. Additionally, about 5-6 months ago they implemented a Load monitor, so if your seedbox has an overall load of more than 7 for 15 minutes or more it just reboots, which is super annoying. I use the storage temporarily and use rclone to move everything off of it. Rclone admittedly can be resource-intensive, but if I am paying for your top-tier provision, I don't expect such low templates for resource mitigation, and this easily could have been mitigated with provisioning with additional RAM, which would have reduced to over server load. Additionally, I could not host Plex using a plexdrive / rclone crypt drive backend.

Additionally, the Rapid seed plan was first 11.5GB of RAM, it is now 4. I didn't realize that they had changed their specifications for the Furious box until I migrated without me knowing and experiencing poor performance, at which point I realized my plan went from 11.5GB to 8GB of RAM.

I have basically had to turn off everything except for my torrent client due to the reduction of provisioned RAM.

My current seedbox has 5.6TB of Storage, 4vCPUs, 8GB of RAM, 10Gbit/s Connection (Never have seen more than 1Gbit/s), 25TBpm Transfer In/Out. €55pm

I have tried a few other competitors but I was unhappy with not having Root-level access.

I rate Rapidseebox.com a 5/10 for under-provisioning of resources at the "top" tier provision, having to turn off all services to use get decent speeds and increase responsiveness, 1Gbit speeds when they advertise 10Gbit, and the random migration without prior notification. But the customer service is consistently great, so 6/10.

I have considered moving to a competitor on more than 100x.
