Used them before and was very happy with their speeds, if they didn't have a cap on upload limit they would be the best in my opinion.

Does anyone know what happen to there dedicated plans?? It seems that after they changed the layout of there site that the dedicated servers disappeared.

i hate feralhosting, they have the worst possible support on the planet
It is not just them seedunlimited is great because of their unlimited traffic but when I try to get better account they need 12 days to transfer my files!!!!!
So I think that bad user support is a common thing...
+1 on that, i had a few issues with there support, good all around speeds and that, but when you have an issue that needs resolving you could be waiting forever for an answer...Quote:

I have helium kit, very fast, was no problem with them. (exception upload Traffic) ;)

The detailed faq is very helpful and it's one of the reasons I chose fh. The only problem I meet is that the rtorrent is very unstable and crash frequently when deleting files, so I do suggest deluge as the client.

I have been with Feral for more than a year now and can't complain, they are great.. Anyone who says their support is no good then you clearly haven't been to their irc and asked for assistance. There is always someone there to help out.. :congrats:
I've never had issues with support. They've been pretty good to me and there are tons of helpful people in IRC. Plus the speeds, price and wiki are all amazing. They seem pretty well run.
I'm actually quite new to Feral Hosting. I started with the Helium plan.
Before buying one, I asked quite some questions and I got all my answers, even in the midst of the night. That was surprising.
I haven't encountered any problems yet. Since my SSH access has limited rights it' likely that I'll do any mistakes to mess with my box but.. (:
Their FAQ is up-to-date and quite explanative. The speeds, well the sites I use doesn't have too many high speed peers so I couldn't test the upload speed but I've seen 100mb+ download speeds and later on when I check my ratio, upload is always high after a while of seeding.
So far so good.
i have a box with feral and have had no issues with it at all runs very smooth....
also the speeds are good aswell...
havent yet had to deal with support as yet fingers crossed this doesnt happened
I have one slot from FeralHosting and is very good in many aspects:
- Good Speed (Download / Upload)
- Very rich FAQ
- Good Support (quick answer the ticket)
- Many features available besides download torrents.
I've some difficult to use the Linux interface, because I wasn't familiar, but now, all is setup and working.
Highly recommended Seedbox!
I had the most frustrating experience with them, 2 months, you can't use your box or you could use it like for a day and the other week is down. when they did the move, they ran into too many issues that just got me fed up with them. No way I'm going to keep my slot.

True, the tickets might take a while to resolve but IRC support is fast. Let it be users or admins, they do help you.
I'm using their Helium £10 /month package at the moment since I don't need the extra space but the only time I seem to have a problem is when they move servers which is rarely the case. On of the most positive parts of the website I find is that they have step by step instructions to installs if you never use it before, very newbie friendly.
Hello, I have same subscription as above, I didn't have any major problems, sometime it tells me that I'm out of space even I'm not, some tickets and in 1-2h it's fixed. The only major problem is he download rate when I try to copy files from their servers to my computer - around 1mbs which is kinda slow and takes a lot of time.

I also have Helium subscription, I am very happy with them. Speeds are very good in my opinion, usualy around 40MB/s but quite often closer to 100MB/s, max I got was 122MB/s, obviously it depends on other users that you share connection with. Another great thing is that you can also run a website on it. And FTP usually maxes out my home 100mbit/s connection.
I have to say, I use feralhosting and (although I have nothing to compare it to) I think that they are excellent. Excellent service, no idea about how their prices match up but I find it more than reasonable considering how I use the slot.

I have been with Feralhosting for 5 years. Totally worth it. Amazing speeding. Use a Deamon link to sync downloads.

in my opinion it's the best one :)
They have good seedboxes,great speeds but not too good customer support.
Great download speed, up to 210 MB/s when seeders exist, but after a short period, the speed drops to 120 MB/s stable for long period, if torrent is huge.
Slow speed on torrent re-check (82 MB/s from my calculation, which means that a 40 GB torrent wil be re-checked in 8.3 minutes).
Slow FTP transfer speed from seedbox to home computer (the first minute can almost max out a gigabit connection with speed from 85-105 MB/s, but after that, speed is somewhere between 14 MB/s and 25 MB/s). Probably some limitations kicks in after the first minute of FTP transfer (I tested with CuteFTP Pro and CrossFTP Ent for Windows). Regarding FTP transfer, it's possible to work faster, but it need to change the route of the transfer and try every option from there, which is like this:
Cogent via 130.117.255.36, using 6.9 out of 20 Gbit/s
Fiber Ring via 87.255.32.229, using 3.1 out of 20 Gbit/s
Fiber Ring via 87.255.32.249, using 3.1 out of 20 Gbit/s

The best I have tried, have used them ever since I got a box from the the first time :)
Every one I know who uses them seems happy but they do not provide root access and that - to me - is fundamental to the seedbox experience

Feral doesn't control upload speeds to it - that is dictated by your ISP so we cannot really do anything about that I'm afraid.
