My favorite band Is Rush because Neil Peart is really a god and I think each member is a virtuoso of is instrument. I'm also a drummer so I think all drummers will have something for Rush...I mean all albums are differents so you can see the progression of the band since the beginning in 74. When you listen to them and you realise they are really just 3 in the band it's kind of amazing too !
I can say for my top 4 that Iron Maiden, ACDC and Metallica are not far behind and except for Rush it's really hard to sort them in any order they are all great band. I will also give a special mention to Stevie Ray Vaughan ( what a guitar god...sad he is gone way too young...)
