i have one or two for each of my favorite genres:
metal: Slayer, Metallica
punk: The Exploited
postpunk: Green Day
alternative: Rise Against, Papa Roach
classic rock: Scorpions
hard rock: Bon Jovi
rap: Eminem
classical: Mozart, Apocalyptica (dont know if it fits here lol)
audioslave is he best..

got 3. Jay-Z, Kanye West and the Prodigy. Never was a massive fan but always into electro/techno so the prodigy was a given. Kanye's last album turned me, was brilliant and has opened me up to listening to the rest of his albums. Jay-Z is well... yeahj don't even have to explain.
