I always try to get VO variable mp3 format, which can go from 160 to 320, The problem i see with 320 is it is steady 320 the whole way thru, even when there is no sound. So that is wasted space, VO cuts out all that waste without losing any sound quality. Now as time goes on and hard drive space gets cheaper and cheaper, I will prolly start the move to FLAC. There is def a sound diff between flac and mp3 but not enough diff to justify the added space (right now). Im just not a fan of constant bit rates. The 192 is terrible! how anyone can listen to that is beyond me. Im so glad that people arent using 192 and less, as much as they used to.
