2 Chainz Wins $5 Million 'Thot' Lawsuit

2 Chainz can cross off a $5 million lawsuit from his list of worries. In July, a woman named Christine Chisholm sued the Atlanta rapper for a hefty amount after he had called her a "thot" (an acronym for "that hoe over there") in a viral video from what appeared to be backstage at a show.

A federal judge in North Carolina ruled that calling a person a "thot" was not "extreme or outrageous conduct," according to TMZ. When Chisholm filed the suit, she claimed that she was fired from her job at a barbershop because her boss feared "negative publicity." She also claimed that the attention from the video has damaged her reputation.

A rep for 2 Chainz did not immediately respond to Billboard's request for comment.
