80's by far
It would be the 80s for me
I'm totally an 80s kinda guy. Prefer the 70s to the 90s (with the exception of 3rd wave Ska and OC punk, which I lurv).
For me, personally, depends on how you look at it.
80's had a fresh vibe to everything, although, 70's were the years where so many genres were born and only started to bloom in the early-80's.
I honestly have to go with the 70's.
I think it depends on which generation from you. In 80s I was a teenager, first love & Careless Whispers song. What you felt in the past following you till the end especially if it's the one of the kind. So my vote is for 80s.
The 80s!
The 60s!!
The 90s
80s - with Depeche Mode, The Cure, Kraftwerk ... nice times
Hahaha, the 80's were the worst. But it depends on when you were having your heart-strings tugged...that's when the music you were listening to grabs you. I feel sorry for the 80's kids, lol.
Not a child of the 80s, but definitely the 80s/90s. You can't pinpoint that though. Depends what you grew up with. To me, the best music is yet to be made. We do, however, seem to be stuck in a downward spiral at the moment, especially when it comes to pop music. :D
Despite I adore the 90', undoubtedly the 70s with rock are the best decade for music.
70s no doubt. And 80s because of Prince of course
The 80's of course! :D what else?
The 80s, it was about the producers and the one hit wonders, just loved that decade. 90s was okay, started getting to much indie, alternative, and grunge for my liking.
I'd say the 70s come second with heaps of west coast rock, disco, and euro pop.
80's or 90's, easily
With the understanding that the age range of this thread is likely skewed on the younger side. Let me support my vote for the 70's
Black Sabbath

Not to even mention the bands that spilled over to the 70's: The Beatles, The Doors, The Who, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan
The 1960's light have a similar list of heavyweights with Rock, Motown, and Stax artists.
80s and 90s music all the way. Early days of hip hop, big hair metal, all the way...
80s and 90s, im 24 years old, born in 92 and im still think, i born on the wrong year.
90s-early 00s
Mostly listening to Progressive-Trance and House
the 60's and of course the 70's with all those awesome Rock bands..
Got to be the 80's. So many guilty pleasures.
I've been really into the 60s and 70s recently.
90s
80s a close second :)
voted for 70s - but every decade has brought many good artists/albums/songs - and you still can find good music :)
I recently started to really like music from 90s to 2000s, but yeah there's good music in every decade.
I feel like the answer is always going to have bias of which decade you grew up in. I'm deeply fond of 90s grunge rock, and so obviously i will choose the 90s. However, I'm sure my dad thinks its probably all garbage and the only good music is 50s and 60s lol
90s is the bestttt
Very biased towards the 90's. It was when I really started enjoying music, so it would definitely get my vote!
80's for sure!!! It was the decade when most different music styles appeared and really influcenced what happened next.
It really depends on the kind of music, I don't think that any decade is overall better than another.

90's is the best
2000 for me
Can't vote in this one as for me in the UK it was the late 70's to early 80's.
Punk, Two Tone, Ska, New Wave... to name a few.
From The Clash to Costello to the Cure, that was my favourite era.
60s and 70s, every decade has it's own unique artist and styles, but the one that fits me the best is 60s-70s
I loved the 80s/90s decade, grew up in the late 80's to 90s actually.
For some reason i began to miss the 2000s so much, and even consider that it was the best music decade, but thats just me.
Guess the 80s90s are the all time winners here.
80's is the best !!!
Only good thing about the 90’s was the backstreet boys :dancing::pcguru:
60s were awesome. 80s was fun too.
