Seedbox i a server working 24/7 and seeding torrents instead of your home computer. It won't help you get better download but you don't need to seed torrents back and you can easly get high buffer on private trackers

As I said, you are still limited by your home connection. Your download speeds depends also from other peers speed. But 1mbps is veryeasy to get even on bad seeded torrents.
