I'd like to throw out this problem and see if anyone has a solution or any additional methods to try. Ok, here goes..

Autodl-irssi plugin is installed onto the seedbox and appears to be working since there is the option to add filters, Announce Channels, IRC Servers, Trackers etc. The "bot" can be seen idling in the correct IRC channel by using the /whois command which to me is another indication the plugin is working.

The watch folder is using the same default folder: /home/username/rtorrent/watch and under the preferences option the action is set to "save to a watch folder" which is pointing at the same directory.

The problem is regardless of the filters I use it has never automatically downloaded any of them. I have attempted a test filter where I have the match releases set to * under the general tab just to see if it will pickup the 1st uploaded file, but nothing.

I've seen a screenshot of another users autodl-irssi tab on their seedbox and this is filled with responses from the IRC channel, where it's notifying the likes of torrents been uploaded and matched etc mine on the other hand has nothing like that. The only thing I can see is "Reading Configuration files" when I make an amendment to a filter for example. It also appears to be reflecting the amendments on the IRC bot as when I do a /whois botnickname it has effected the idle time to just a few seconds.

I was hoping this was down to a filters issue but after numerous variations to the filters and the fact the Autodl-irssi isn't populating I have a suspicion there is something I am missing.

Hi, thanks for your reply, unfortunately no I've not used that torrent site and the URL you kindly provided won't allow me to view the page due to the site currently set to invite only.

If you recall what steps you took since it was a similar problem I'd like to give it a try?
