Hello my fellow
TI members...
Some questions regarding Seedboxes
vs. Vuze client for seeding/uploads.
I'm new to this forum, as well as to the concept of private
trackers, seedboxes, and requesting invites for
tracker lists requiring screenshots of seedboxes and d/l, u/l ratios. I need some help in clarifying some things. I've read the tutorials re: seedboxes and seem to understand the framework, however much of the bulk of initiating uploads/seeds and creating torrents I'm oblivious.
See, I played it simple for years. I have been running off a VPN, using public
tracker lists (piratebay, kickass, etc) primarily for some
HD movie d/l's, with some OSX software, as well. I haven't had a problem downloading these files, and hopefully, with a VPN, doing so "anonymously." Using Vuze, I download, then
seed to whomever via the Vuze application, so as long as my VPN was running and my computer is on.
I'm sorry, these upcomming questions may be super basic, but I need clarification because I'm interested in learning.
If a
seedbox is a server allowing me to
seed my files remotely and anonymously - what is the advantage of doing that
vs. seeding through Vuze's program?
Can Vuze seeding be tracked through a Private
Tracker that I am a member?
Also, if I download a file from a torrent list and
seed it through a "
seedbox" how do I upload it to the
seedbox?
Am I able to upload these files and they will be seeded without me logged in?
If I am running the application Infuse on my 4k Apple TV through a hard-drive connected to an airport extreme, is the Plex Account associated with some of these seedboxes more streamlined then my setup now?
I want to learn/follow the rules - but I don't know the first thing about the dealings of a
seedbox and maintaining
ratio's - however I'm beginning to learn.
If anyone has a direction for me, I'd appreciate it. My sole interest really is to be an active member of a community that can share 4k content.
Thanks in advance!
