Hi all ... Well I just bought a CHDbits invite, and I want to crank up the upload ratio using a seedbox as my personal ISP has a ton of restrictions ..

1) Is using a seedbox even allowed by torrent sites in general (e.g. CHDbits), as you're accessing the site from two different geographical locations ?

2) Would using a seedbox put me at risk of getting banned by torrent sites like CHDbits ?

3) Suppose my seedbox is running somewhere else and is downloading/uploading some torrent ... Can I simultaneously download a torrent locally on my own PC using the same torrent account ? I mean would this put me at risk of getting banned ?

4) I have my eye set on whatbox.ca for their $15 12.5 MB/sec unmetered bandwidth plan ... If my math is correct, it should take approximately 24 hours to upload 1 TB right (assuming a constant 12.5 MB/sec upload speed) ?

5) Should I look out for some specific things when searching for a cheap seedbox ?

Any other seedbox related advice would be really appreciated ..

Any other seedbox service recommendations are also welcome .. I don't want to spend more than $20/month ..

yes but they have a bandwidth limit, which whatbox does not have (from what I can tell as least) ..

I don't know about CHDbits but some trackers you must tell them your using a seedbox, I haven't told them and so far I'm good.
I never DL from my home ISP and seedbox at the same time as I think this would raise a few red flags.
As for the 1TB in 24 hour it is impossible

So is there any way I can find out if seedboxes are or are not allowed on say, CHDbits ? Like what is their exact policy on the matter ?

Also, how long will it take to upload 1 TB using whatbox.ca ?

it depends on some stuff but i'm guessing not over 10-12mb/s

It depends on what torrents your grabbing and how many seeders/leechers is on it, you should grab torrents that are new and have low seeders and high leechers.
In the FAQ section of every tracker you can see the rules

Assume the torrent just got released maybe a day ago ..

No person can answer this question, it depends on how many seeders/leechers on each torrent you grab.
The more seeders on a torrent the less you will upload, and if someone on the same torrent as you has a faster seedbox then most of the upload will go to that person.

They are would in every tracker, and read their FAQ, it must be written over there.
Depends. 100mbps is enough for sure, if you got enough money you can get 1GBit which is like 30mb/s upload!
It will take few days by my opinion, maybe a week - week and half.
