Having a hard time downloading my files to my pc!! (Dedi) Ur help plz!!!

    Hey guys,
I'm new to seedboxes, now I've got some torrents to download from my seedbox. The problem is when I start the download (using IDM) it will start with 8 connections and max speed (~3MBs), but just for 4 or 5 seconds and it stops and says:

"IDM started to download the file using one connection because of data corruption when newly received data in several connections did not match the same data downloaded earlier."

then it starts using one connection/thread and the speed goes down to sth like 300KBps!!

What should I do to get a stable download with max speed??

Try using the BitKenix client to download your files. It supports WebDav, SFTP, and SCP. Setup the client to use SFTP, connect to your server that way. Trying to download files through HTTP doesn't always work the way it should.

    Use one connection in IDM.

He's using multiple connections because of poor peering between his seedbox and his ISP. As he said, he gets 300 KB/s on a single thread. This is why downloading over FTP is the preferred method.

Hey, I'v just installed BitKenix but it didn't work for me!! it connects to the server and the windows pops up but the folder list is empty and it states "FIN recieved connection closed"

I've tried the ftp and I think my proxy doesn't allow for ftp connections to pass??

    Any other suggestions guys??

You didn't mention that you were using a proxy. You don't need a proxy to protect yourself if you using Secure-FTP to connect to your seedbox. It uses SSL encryption.

I know mate, but the proxy is the ISP's server itself so I have to go through it as you know
