Hi. I just bought seedbox from one of providers. Together with it I got OpenVPN service (.ovpn file).

What's for is OpenVPN? Do I have to use it together with my seedbox? Is it going to hide connection between my home computer and seedbox?

Is it safe to use seedbox without provided OpenVPN service (.ovpn file)?
