Should where the seed box is hosted be a consideration in choosing which provider to use. Secureboxes seem to be the cheapest, but they are hosted in the UK - should I be concerned about this?

I'm pretty sure you can select which continent you want a seedbox when you sign up with secureboxes. As i did a trial there and selected Europe, i was assigned a random seedbox from "Romania". In the end i decided to go with pulsedmedia.com. Pulsedmedia sponsor this forum, but i was lucky enough to try one of their 100mbit seedboxes free for a month and couldn't resist it. I ended up going for that instead of a 1Gbs seedbox from secureboxes as it was less stable and shared (which meant i rarely hit the speeds it was capable of). All in all location is something to think about based on the trackers that your a part of. ie if that country is blacklisted from a certain tracker you have.

You may also want to test a file from the provider for the FTP speeds to your home as these differ depending on your ISP and the seedbox location.
