As you can see I am new to this forum and new to world of torrenting and seeding. I was looking into renting a seedbox account for my torrents downloading

Basically my current internet provider speed is very slow and it takes times to download torrents. I was thinking of renting a seedbox to download torrents and then transfer the data to my local computer. Coronavirus has give me ample time to download and watch movies, shows etc.

Do you think this is possible? or should I rent a seedbox account just for this ?

Also I am not sure about the specs/terminology of these seedboxes ( traffic size, downloaded limit etc). What I should be looking for if I want a normal size space (500gb to 1TB) with unlimited downloading speed or traffice restrictions.

Any help would be much appreciated

Yes you can rent box just for this but if your speed is slow it will be slow when you are transfering data from box to your local computer too so it may not work like you wanted but yes you can.

I recommend you yo use seedboxes.cc. batbox is very good for your condition and also have plex media server support which you can watch movies in your box without downloading to your local computer. Plex media server installation is very easy and there is very simple how to do guide.

What I should be looking for if I need unlimited downloading either on torrents or other way. I am looking at different plans but confuse in terminology

Does "Unmetered bandwidth" means unlimited downloading ?

yes you can download as much as you can as long as you have space in your seedbox.

My 2cents: If you're ISP is slow,I'm guessing you might be also having power supply issue. So I would suggest you to let go of streaming capabilities. Focus more on storage space on your seedbox. Even if you've no power supply issues, with slow speed you may be able to stream only upto 480p without any pixelation/interruptions etc.
As you may already know: download overnight if that helps you improve speed.

I dont know cheap seedbox others will be more helpfull for you but even in seedbox sometimes you can not reach required ratio so use public tracker or becarefull.

U have plenty of seedboxes renting choices around these days but if you run your own dedi server or even a cheap cloud vm u can setup your own seedbox there

I am not worried about building ratios . I just want to download torrents from website like RARBG, Iptorrent etc. I think they are public torrents

IPT its not a public tracker neither TL etc you need to get invited all private trackers if u wont seed ull get banned public trackers are for ex piratebay and all those full of virus
