Using GOM Player
I almost 99.92% I use VLC. This has usually worked on almost everything I have wanted to work. If for some reason it doesn't work, I will use Windows Media Classic. With those two, I don't need anything else at the moment.

VLC on PC but I stream a lot to the xbox, get fed up though with having to convert many .mkv files.

I'm still using D-Link Boxee Box (Boxee Hacks firmware), I know it's discontinued :( But I feel as though it's still the best media player around.
I use Kodi for now. I'm thinking about switching to a local Plex server. I also use VLC when everything else fails.

I've been using VLC for years. Just Recently within the last 2 months i setup a PleX for all around the house.
I am using now days MPC-HC , its so easy to use

I use UMS when I am streaming over my network to one of the consoles or I just watch through VLC on my desktop ... I generally hate sitting in front of the PC to watch something though.
